Stress Buster – TheraVeda® Sleep Ease: Pure, Powerful & Organic
TheraVeda® Sleep Ease and Stress Ease formulas may be used separately or together, with your individual response to them setting the rule for when they should be used. Many individuals who struggle with sleep issues find that taking adaptogens, like Ashwagandha and Shatavari, during the day can be an effective preventive action that prepares their body for sleep at night. People who need additional focus to accomplish daily objectives may take Brahmi and Jatamansi during the day. These formulas may be used for 3-6 months continuously (taking one week off per month).
Sleep Ease:
Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) and Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi) are combined specifically in this formula to improve sleep, which is often interrupted in times of high stress. Both have calming nervine compounds that help take the edge off stressful situations.

Brahmi (Bacopa monniera), Plant part used: Leaf & stem
Primary actions: Improves memory and mental clarity, reduces symptoms of stress and anxiety and balances the nervous system. Key words: Cooling, calming tonic for the mind and nervous system. This cooling, bitter and sweet herb thrives in moist areas throughout India and Asia. It is fondly referred to as “Brahmi” for its assistance in providing greater creative energy, clarity and “light” to the mind and body. It contains calming nervine properties to feed and nourish the nervous system which can be depleted by daily stress. It is traditionally used as a tonic for the brain and mind to fuel greater memory retention and focus while learning. Bacopa helps to balance “burned out” feelings and combat brain fog. It is traditionally used as “brain food” because it boosts memory retention and focus. In our Sleep Ease formula, Bacopa is used to boost the body’s ability to cool, calm and focus the mind. Taken at night, it calms the mind and slows brain chatter, allowing you to ease into a good night’s rest.
Contraindications/safety: No known contraindications. It is suggested to use caution if taking antiepileptic and antidepressant medications. As with all herbs during pregnancy and lactation, consult a healthcare professional prior to use. No drug-herb interactions known.

Jatamansi or Indian Spikenard (Nardostachys jatamansi), Plant part used: Rhizome
Primary actions: Soothes restlessness, calms and focuses the mind and helps maintain healthy heart functions. Key words: Cooling, relaxing tonic for the mind and nervous system. This cooling root found at high elevations in the Himalayas is renowned for its rejuvenating and calming effects on the mind. Its nervine properties help feed the nervous system to balance feeling “burned out” by reducing occasional nervous tension or anxiety. It is said to have a penetrating quality that helps to focus and calm the mind, or if having thoughts that feel like they are constant “repeat mode” that block your ability to rest or focus. Jatamansi is beneficial for promoting a good night’s sleep without being overly sedating.
Contraindications/safety: Use with caution during pregnancy. High doses can cause nausea, colic and urinary problems. It is suggested to use caution with sedative, antihypertensive, and anti-depressive medications (Pole 2006). As with all herbs during pregnancy and lactation, consult a healthcare professional prior to use. No known drug-herb interactions.
As with any dietary supplement, consult a healthcare professional prior to using them. Use with particular caution if you are taking other medications to help cope with stress, anxiety or insomnia.
These two formulas use ancient Ayurvedic herbs delivered in an innovative patent-pending technology that combines powerful supercritical carbon dioxide (fat soluble) extracts with hydrophilic (water soluble) extracts that are then bound back to the whole herb. Both formulas are designed to be fast-acting so that most people will experience results within 15 to 30 minutes.
